Biography
Jim Bongiovanni is the Systems Librarian for Temple University. At Temple he manages the staff-facing and public-facing technology infrastructure as well as user support services for the Libraries. Responsible for the Libraries' ILS (Innovative/Millennium) and several other specialized systems; responsible for computing in the library labs and information commons; works with library staff to research and develop innovative technology services and solutions; works with University IT staff to ensure operational effectiveness and to implement new technologies; represents the Libraries' technology interests within the University and without.
His primary interests are Library/IT Partnerships, IT Infrastructure including Cloud Computing, Professional Development.
