Biography

Jill Forrester is an Associate Vice President for Library and Information Services at Dickinson College, where she plays a significant role in strategic planning and systems development for the College's administrative computing environment. Her areas of responsibility include managing the analysts and developers that maintain and support the use of Sungard HE Banner and IBM Cognos throughout the College's administrative offices. Recent projects include the development of a college-wide strategy for deploying and supporting mobile technologies. She has also managed the successful 18-month implementation of the full Sungard HE Banner system, the implementation of a document imaging and workflow solution for the college, and the implementation of the college's portal solution. Jill has expertise with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, project management, IT governance, process re-engineering, business intelligence initiatives, mobile technologies, and application development.

She holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences with a specialization in operations research from Clemson University. She is currently interested in the application and role of emerging technologies in higher education administration.
