Biography

Jim Twetten has worked at Iowa State University in educational technology for 27 years. After an award-winning start in television and instructional media production, he has served in a variety of leadership and management roles since 1992. Now as Director of Academic Technologies, Jim impacts all technologies at Iowa State related to learning and teaching. Jim owns two degrees from Iowa State University; a B.S. in Speech Communication (1985) and an M.S. in Higher Education Administration (1999).

Jim is currently a member of EDUCAUSE's Nominations Committee, and has previously served on the Advisory Committee on Teaching and Learning, as well as the ELI Advisory Board. Besides Jim's EDUCAUSE involvement, he has previously served as board member and officer (Treasurer) for the Consortium of College and University Media Centers (CCUMC).
