Jim Twetten

Biography

RETIRED

Jim Twetten has worked in higher education and educational technology for over 30 years. He has served in various leadership roles since the early 1990s, and was most recently the Service Owner for Academic Technology Learning Spaces at the University of Minnesota. Jim has had multiple consulting projects in the areas of campus engagement, learning space evolution, promoting innovation, and IT operations. Jim owns two degrees from Iowa State University; a B.S. in Speech Communication and an M.S. in Higher Education Administration.  Jim has served as a member of EDUCAUSE's Nominations Committee, Advisory Committee on Teaching and Learning, as well as the ELI Advisory Board. Besides Jim's EDUCAUSE involvement, he has previously served as board member and officer (Treasurer) for the Consortium of College and University Media Centers (CCUMC). Jim was also one of the founding members of FLEXspace.org.
