Biography

As Director of Academic Technology & User Services, I oversee central offices providing the help desk and desktop support, computer labs and our Student Technology Center, classroom technologies, video production services, equipment loan, learning systems software (Canvas, etc.) and the Center for Instructional Innovation and Assessment.

My primary interest is in digital literacies and faculty development. Current projects include the design of Active Learning Classrooms, Accessibility and Open Educational Resources. I tinker with Alexa and Arduino programming, VR development and game design.

I began presenting at EDUCAUSE in 2007 and am an alumnus of the EDUCAUSE Leadership Institute in 2011. I contribute to the EDUCAUSE Core Data Service and lead our institution's implementation of the ETRAC faculty and student surveys. I hold a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia, an M.S. from Bloomsburg University, and a B.J. from the University of Nebraska.
