Jolie Tingen

Biography

Jolie is a User Experience Designer and Information Architect on the Creative and User Experience Team (CrUX) at Duke’s Office of Information Technology.  Jolie was previously the Product Manager for the Kits platform, a strategic partnership between Duke’s Office of Information Technology and Learning Innovation.

Before joining Duke, Jolie was an instructional technologist at Wake Forest University where she supported faculty in the arts in selecting discipline-specific and instructional technologies to support their research and instructional goals. She was a member of the Learning Management Systems Team and served as the project lead in the university’s transition to Sakai in 2010. Her interests include user experience design, and open education. Jolie holds an MA in Education: Instructional Technology and a certification in User Experience Design from the Nielsen Norman Group.
