Jonathan Huer

Biography

Dr. Huer is currently the Education Vertical Lead at AT&T. His career has focused largely on technology in educational spaces. Prior to AT&T, Jonathan was the Sr. VP of Strategy and Chief Learning Officer at Eleven Fifty Academy, the Director of Instructional Technology at Cal State Long Beach, and the Director of Emerging Technologies at Ball State University.

Honors include being named an Apple Distinguished Educator, Adobe Education Leader, twice a Campus Technology Innovator, Techpoint Mira Award winner for "Tech Educator of the Year," SXSWedu presenter, and 2015 New Horizons Department Editor for Educause Review. He's also won awards as a filmmaker and app developer. Jonathan earned his Bachelors in Design from UCLA, his MFA in Producing from the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC, and his Doctorate in Education from Lamar University as part of a global Apple cohort.
