Kelly Walsh is the CIO at The College of Westchester in White Plains, NY, where he also teaches as an adjunct faculty member. He has worked as an information technology manager for over 20 years, and in 2008 he joined The College of Westchester.

Select Professional Highlights as Executive IT Leader and Collaborator:

* Strategic Planning: Ongoing participant in development and implementation of the institution's Strategic Plan as a member of the President'€™s Cabinet. Developed the institution'™s first 3 Year Strategic Technology Plan in 2012 following a thorough environmental scan, effectively incorporating key themes such as Enhanced Mobility, Professional Development, and Technology Leadership Branding in the planning process.

* Project Portfolio Management: Responsible for annual design and delivery of project portfolio consisting of dozens of projects incorporating information and communications systems and related business processes. Projects are selected based on key criteria including alignment with the institution'™s strategic goals and continued delivery of the department'€™s minimum of 99.7% uptime Service Level Agreement. The Department has consistently delivered over 90% of projects on time and within budget year over year.

* Institutional Effectiveness and Planning: Co-Chair for IEP Committee. Working with Provost (fellow Co-Chair), oversaw successful reorganization of IEP Committee with a focus on oversight, review, and recommendations reporting for institutional Key Performance Indicators, and the college'€™s Standing Committees, through which Shared Governance is facilitated.

* In 2009, Walsh founded the popular website, where he writes regularly about engaging students and enhancing learning outcomes through the use of emerging Internet and instructional technologies. EmergingEdTech has tens of thousands of subscribers consuming content via subscriptions and the site's social media channels.

* His newest digital publication, the Flipped Classroom Workshop in a Book helps instructors everywhere develop their own flipped instruction implementation plan. Walsh has also developed a popular 4 week online Flipped Classroom Workshop that he runs several times a year.

* Walsh regularly speaks and conducts workshops about a variety of education technology topics at schools and conferences across the U.S.
