Biography

Ken is the CIO and Executive Director of Informaton Services at Pomona College. In that capacity he is in charge of all computing services for the campus and is Pomona College's primary representative to the Claremont University Consortium for all IT matters. Prior to coming to Pomona College Ken was at California Lutheran University (CLU)where he served in various capacities for 19 years. His last position was that of Associate Provost for Information Services in which capacity he managed a department that he was instrumental in creating that merged library, computing, telecommunications and instructional media into one department. While at CLU Ken led projects to implement a new library automated system, wire the entire campus for a campus wide network, install a new phone/voice mail system, and implement a new administrative system. Ken has also done consulting work both within the United States as well as abroad inclduing such places as the Fiji Islands and the United Arab Emirates.
