Khushru Tata is the Chief Information Technology Officer of South Carolina Technical College System (which includes a statewide system with sixteen colleges, a Center for Accelerated Technology Training for industry-specific training and a System Office (headquarters) staff). He is responsible for providing visionary IT leadership in the development of strategic IT plans and operating policies that enable SCTCS to achieve strategic business objectives.
Prior to coming to the System, Mr. Tata was employed with the SC Department of Insurance as their Chief Information Officer and the SC Governor's Office as Director of Information Technology. Mr. Tata has approximately 13 years of professional experience in the technology field and possesses a BS in both Physics and Computer Science.
