Kim Armstrong

Biography

Kim Armstrong is an Associate Professor of Spanish and Linguistics at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She has served as chair of the Department of Spanish and Linguistics and most recently has chaired the Committee on Academic Technology, a standing committee that advises the administration and IT on matters and policy related to the use of technology in the academic program. As chair of the committee she initiated a faculty survey on their views and use of technology in teaching. This is soon to be followed by a student survey on the same topic. Her research interest are in the area of second language acquisition and the use of technology in foreign language teaching. She received her Master's and Ph.D. from Georgetown University in the area of Spanish Linguistics.
