Biography

Kitty Bridges is Senior Advisor on Strategic Initiatives at NYU IT.  She has been responsible for a wide range of services and initiatives at NYU including digital accessibility, cybersecurity, and service management. Prior to joining NYU, she held a variety of positions at the University of Michigan, most recently leading academic computing and infrastructure services. Her earlier experience was in corporate libraries and research organizations. 

Kitty has been at NYU since 2007, initially coming to NYU to design NYU’s primary data center.  She has been responsible for several areas while at NYU including: User & Global Support, Communications, Strategic Planning, and Service Delivery & Management.  Before NYU, she held several IT leadership roles at the University of Michigan, with earlier experience in research, libraries, and private industry.
