Biography
Lavina (Vi) Richter is the coordinator of academic technology at Phillips Exeter Academy. A member of the faculty, Vi is the liaison between ITS initiatives and the faculty and student body. Vi is a graduate of Wellesley College, with a degree in Language Studies/Linguistics, where she worked to support the CE/Davis Scholar program as a member of Information Technology Services/User Services department. Vi's primary role and passion is "translation" - helping ITS understand the needs of faculty and students and assisting those populations in working effectively with ITS to meet their curricular and program goals. In addition to her position as Academic Technology Coordinator, Vi manages campus labs, supervises student workers, and coordinates new and existing initiatives with the other members of the ITS management team. Vi also served as a dorm affiliate in a house of 32 girls.
