Biography
Louise Sundermeier
Executive Director of Experiential Learning
Assessment and Planning
Louise Sundermeier has more than 30 years of professional experience working in higher education, administering the first-year experience programs, managing career development and internship services, adult education programs, coordinating academic advisement services and working with international students specializing in handling immigration matters.
She completed her graduate studies in Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic University and holds two bachelor's degrees from Barry University and from the State University of New York. Louise has been associated with Lynn University since 1989. She began her career at Lynn University as Director of the Hannifan Center for Career Development. In that role she developed a career resource center and a career library, implemented campus recruitment programs, and provided career development services to Lynn University students and alumni. In her present position as Dean of Freshmen, she oversees the First Year Experience program and works closely with the first-year students. She is also responsible for facilitating the Assessment and Planning process for Student Services and Administration.
