Biography

Maria Piret is the Director of Information Systems at Lynn University. Working with a staff of IT and Business professionals, she is responsible for all Information systems, from the University's Enterprise Systems maintenance and support through designing and implementation of home grown, open source, and vendor applications.
Her duties also include prioritizing and implementing IT projects in alignment with the institution strategic plan, budget resources, and providing a strategic vision for the Information Systems department. Current initiatives include support to the third Presidential Debate in October 2012, CRM migration for the Enrollment department and iPad deployment to faculty and freshman students.

Maria Piret is currently pursuing a Master in Educational Leadership at Lynn University, has earned a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A) from Florida Atlantic University and a Project Manager Professional (PMP) credential from the Project Management Institute.
