Biography

Meg Stewart is a Fulbright Alumni Ambassador (http://www.cies.org/ambassadors/mstewart/) and Research Associate at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill campus. Interested in making GIS and geospatial technologies accessible to all, Meg works extensively with Google Earth as a medium for sharing spatial data. Meg explores the utility of emerging technologies in the higher education curriculum and actively includes evaluation and assessment into course pre-design and re-design projects working with faculty members. She has given talks and written about tablet PC use in field-based classes, Google Earth and GIS in teaching, and assessment of student learning outcomes.
