Biography

Michael is the Director of Educational Technologies at the University of Pittsburgh's Center for Teaching and Learning. He contributes to the Center’s strategic goals through the development of effective technologies and services that advance teaching excellence at Pitt. He directs a staff of technical and pedagogy experts who provide an array of services including the development of the learning management tool landscape, the transformation of learning spaces, and the exploration of makerspaces to serve as resources for Pitt and the local community.

Michael is an advocate for students and faculty to ensure easy and equal access to learning technologies.
