Biography
Mike Richichi is Director of Computing and Network Services at Drew University. Drew, a small liberal arts college with a graduate school and theological seminary, was the first liberal arts college to provide computers to students, and has been recognized as an innovator in ubiquitous computing and networking. Mike is responsible for the networking infrastructure, the student computer program, helpdesk and computer lab support, and telecommunications services. He also is leading strategic planning throughout the technology organization, and has a strategic role in the implementation of a new ERP system. He is a 2006 Frye Institute Fellow. He has a BA in physics from Drew and an MA in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University. He has recently developed an interest in the use of social media avatars for professional development.
