Biography
Patrick Newell is the Head of Library Information Technology and Systems Librarian at the California State University, Fresno. He plays an active role in planning and policy development for library and campus information technology infrastructure and programs. Recent projects include electronic reserves, OpenURL linking, streaming media services, Copyright Policy analyses, and campus standards processes. Patrick is working on a Ph.D. in Education Policy at the University of California, Davis, having completed a master's degree in Library and Information Science from UCLA and in Philosophy from Fordham University.
