Biography

Peggy, now into her 39th year at the University of Kentucky, is in the ITS Vendor Management Office.  She has previously served in many student support roles within Information Technology.  She began her career assisting students in using a miniframe via dumb terminals. Later she oversaw the Student Computing Services area within IT. This department provided computer labs and computer classrooms across campus, using approximately 100 student employees to provide support for over 1200 computers. She also oversaw the campus "pay for print/self serve copier" contract which later morphed in to the campus-wide Managed Print Services contract.  She was part of the IT Project Management Office for a while and is a certified PMP and CSM.  Before beginning her career with the university, she received her BS in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky and was a student employee in IT.
