Ramanarao Chamarty is Director at Computer Services, Temple University, where he plays a significant role in strategic planning, directory services, identity Access Management and deploying cutting edge technologies. Recent projects include designing and deploying a Identity Management solution for the University, Student Portal using Blackboard and manage multiple instances of Oracle Databases. Ramana completed his M.S. in Computer Science at Temple University and also serves as an adjunct faculty at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences (college of Science and Technology) and Department of Management and Information Systems (Fox school of Business). Ramana has been actively involved in the area database administration, performance tuning and Disaster recovery. He has been a regular speaker at Oracle Conferences (IOUG) for over six years and has authored articles( Oracle Magazine).
