Bob Yanckello is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Orlando's University of Central Florida. As CTO he leads the Computer Services & Telecommunications department that supports all aspects of the university's enterprise computing, networking, and telecommunications. The department provides application and systems development, document imaging, email, server hosting, PC labs, as well as service desk and telecommunication services for the university community. Yanckello was employed at Central Connecticut State University, from 1989 to 2004, where he held various positions, including Director of Institutional Research, ERP Project Manager and CIO.

He has published articles on Total Quality Management (TQM) and delivered presentations on the topics of Strategic Planning, Identity Management, Disaster Recovery and TQM. He is active participant in statewide and regional organizations including EDUCAUSE Southeast Regional Conference (SERC) and the Florida Association of Educational Data Systems (FADES)

Yanckello holds a masters degree in higher education administration from Pennsylvania State University and a management degree from Juniata College.
