Robin Robinson is the Director of Education Technology and Interactive Media at Framingham State University (FSU), where she has worked since 2002. Robin and the staff of the Education Technology Office support faculty, students and staff in the teaching and learning environment at Framingham State University and manage the administration of the university web presence. Robin proposes strategies for the integration of technology throughout the curriculum and facilitates related continuous improvement of academic programs based on quality standards and generally accepted best practices that assist faculty in applying pedagogical design within the unique context of individual courses delivered in a traditional classroom, purely online or any combination of the two. Robin also directs the development and management of technology and services used for learning and instruction as well as interactive media for university communications, dissemination of unrestricted information, and constituent engagement. Robin is the co-facilitator of the FSU Quality Matters course design initiative, co-chairs a Task Force on Assessment and ePortfolios, and leads the Collaborative Learning and Communication Action Teams within ITS. Robin is the Massachusetts Colleges Online Chair and was published in Educause Review Online, along with her colleagues, Dr. Aline Davis and Clair Waterbury for their study of tablets in the classroom. Robin earned a Master's degree in Technical and Professional Writing from Northeastern University in Boston, and worked in Publishing before coming to the University.
