Ron Danielson

Biography

Ronald L. Danielson has been Chief Information Officer at Santa Clara University since July 2000, leading the Information Services organization in offering academic and administrative computing, networking and telecommunications, web, instructional and classroom technology, and library services to the university. Affiliated with Santa Clara since 1976, Ron's previous administrative positions include Director of Information Systems 1984 - 1990 and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs 1990 - 1992. Ron is also an associate professor of computer engineering, teaching courses in programming and programming languages, human-computer interaction, and technology for non-majors. His research interests include the impact of information technologies on organizations, human-computer interaction, and Web-based educational tools. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
