Rudy Sanchez

Biography

Rudy J. Sanchez, Ph.D., serves as the Interim Associate Vice President for Academic and Institutaional Effectiveness and is a Professor of Management at California State University, Fresno. He also serves as the university's Senior Academic Technology Officer. Rudy is responsible for facilitating the vision and strategic direction faculty development and insitutional research. He is the co-developer of Fresno State’s University-wide leadership development program. Rudy currently serves as Past-president of the Directors of Educational Technology in California Higher Education (DET/CHE). He previously served as the Director of Academic Technology & Innovation at Fresno State. He led the development of the teaching and learning aspects of Fresno State's mobile learning program (DISCOVERe). Rudy was also co-principal investigator of the university’s $3.18 million Hispanic Serving Institutions grant. Rudy is an award winning teacher and highly rated trainer. He has led training for hundreds of faculty, managers, and executives from a variety of profit, not-for-profit, educational, and governmental organizations. Rudy conducts research and facilitates workshops in the areas of leadership, innovation, strategy, and educational technology.
