Biography
Scott Valcourt is the Director of Project Management & Consulting Services in the Department of Computing & Information Services at the University of New Hampshire. He is the founder of the UNH Computer Science Department's Center for Software Systems and is the former Managing Director of the UNH InterOperability Laboratory (http://www.iol.unh.edu) where he researched and supported over 15 networking technologies. Network Magazine named him one of the Fifty Most Powerful People in Networking in 2001 and he was inducted into the DSL Forum Circle of Excellence in 2002. A PhD candidate in Engineering Systems Design at the University of New Hampshire, his research interests include computer security, software design, computer communications and computer science education.
