Steven is the Instruction Design Librarian at the Lied Library of the University of Nevada - Las Vegas. He is a graduate of Indiana University's School of Library and Information Science and the 2009 ACRL Immersion Teacher Track Program. He has previously held positions at the Harvard Kennedy School Library and Trinity University. His research interests include instructional design, assessment, curriculum reform, pedagogy, and student engagement. While at Trinity University, he taught a first-year seminar course titled, "Dude, Where's My Cape: Reading and Understanding Graphic Novels." He was a presenter at the 2009 LOEX National Conference and the 2009 ACRL National Conference. His latest article, "The Case for Graphic Novels", is currently under review.
