Susan E. Metros serves as Associate Vice Provost for Information Technology Services and Associate Chief Information Officer for Technology-Enhanced Learning at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She recently was named Interim Associate Dean of the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for the Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation. She holds faculty appointments in the USC Roski School of Fine Arts, USC Rossier School of Education and USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. Her IT leadership portfolio includes university-wide oversight for educational technologies, online learning, learning environments and web services. In her role as academic leader and educator, she designs new programs, develops curricula, and teaches courses in new and emerging technologies and multimedia literacy. She also has served as principal designer on several international award winning multimedia projects. Susan publishes and presents on leadership and mentoring, visual and multimedia literacy, and the role of technology in transforming education to be multi-modal, interactive and learner-driven. Most recently, Susan was elected as Vice-Chair of the EDUCAUSE Board of Directors.
