Biography
As Director of the University of Notre Dame's OpenCourseware Project, Terri Bays is part of the Learning Technology Lab in the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning. There she recruits faculty and consults with them in the preparation of their contributions to OpenCourseware, a free and open digital publication of high quality teaching materials, organized as courses. In addition to managing a staff of course production assistants, she serves as Notre Dame's representative to the OpenCourseware Consortium, an international collaboration of more than 60 institutions working to advance education and empower people worldwide through opencourseware. Terri did her undergraduate work at Northwestern University, and received her Ph.D. in English from UCLA in 2000.
