Biography

Tom is an Information Security Officer and analyst with a unique insight into the security needs and internal operations of Information Technology at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). He is responsible for numerous information security-related tasks and Regulatory Compliance. Tom's tasks include implementing security measures, advising network architecture and engineering efforts, and developing custom technical solutions in support of information security, policy development and enforcement. Tom has a Master's Degree in Computer Science and over 25 years of experience as a computer security technologist, data analyst, software engineer, and project manager. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) specializing in software security (GSSP-JAVA) and web security (GWEB).
