Biography

Thomas (TJ) Rains became vice president of information services/chief information officer at Cardinal Stritch University in September of 2010. In this role, TJ is responsible for leading the Office of Information Services in providing relevant and well managed IT, Data Management and Library/Learning Services to the Stritch community.

Prior to his arrival at Stritch, Rains served as the associate chief information officer for enterprise systems and project management at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas.
He has considerable strategic & operational planning and budgeting experience, and is a certified project management professional (PMP). T.J. also holds a Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) and Bachelors of Science in Business.
