Biography
Tony Sams is a program manager and digital scholarship specialist in the j Willard Marriott Library at the University of Utah. Tony is also the president and CEO of Storyrobe Inc. His recent projects include: developing a mobile library based on iPhone/iPod Touch technologies, working on a podcasting and Podcast Producer project, and outreach, through classes and workshops, for iTunes U and mobile learning. The most recent, and very rewarding, is teaching Digital Storytelling in the Marriott Library to students, staff, and faculty. As part of an Innovation grant Tony attended a workshop in Santa Fe, NM, with Bob Sacha. The class was called, "Visual Storytelling with Audio" and was a great primer into the technical side of digital storytelling. He is also co-teaching Writing 3040, "Digital Storytelling" at the University of Utah with Alison Regan, PhD.
