Wendy Clink

Biography

Wendy Clink serves as the Associate Vice President for Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness at Broward College where she has 30 years of progressively responsible experience. She is responsible for overall management in the areas of strategic planning, institutional research and institutional effectiveness. She provides leadership and vision to the development of data processes that support student success and continuous improvement throughout the college. AVP Clink earned several associate degrees from Broward College as well as both a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Studies and a Master's Degree in Library & Information Studies from Florida State University. AVP Clink, working under the leadership of VP Patti Barney, has been highly involved in the effort to integrate planning, budgeting, assessment and evaluation within an online effectiveness framework from its inception through to its implementation at the college. In addition, realizing the significant value of managing information and applying analytics to turn information into a competitive and strategic asset she was responsible for creating a Business Intelligence center at the college. This center allows access to data for planning purposes at all levels of the college. AVP Clink is one of the founding members of the SAS Community College Customer Advisory Council(CCCAC). She is also a member of the Society for College and University Planning.
