Zack Tucker

Biography

Zack Tucker is the Media Specialist for Kent Library at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. In this role, he is responsible for implementing new initiatives and managing the daily operations of the Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center, as well as facilitating the redesign and maintenance of the Kent Library website. Under his leadership, the multimedia center has experienced unprecedented growth, increasing usage from 365 total users in 2012 to 1573 total users in 2013. Zack also serves as co-advisor for Southeast's American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Student Group. Zack has designed and presented to over 500 individuals through software demonstrations and workshops on campus including basic and advanced levels of photo and video editing, graphics creation, and web design. Additionally, he has contributed to many informational sessions on multimedia resources at Southeast, including the Take-Away Friday Series, sponsored by the Office of Instructional Technology, and the Teaching Enhancement Workshop, sponsored by the Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning. Zack received his BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration from Southeast in 2012 and is currently pursuing a MA in Educational Technology.
