Session Type: Corporate and Campus Solutions
In the 2009-10 academic year, 50% of Washington and Lee University students and staff were using WPA2/802.1X across multiple wireless solutions. This calendar year, we set out with an ambitious goal of moving to a unified Aruba wireless network and WPA2/802.1X infrastructure. By leveraging Aruba, Cloudpath, and social engineering, an average of 96% of our students and 99% of our staff are now using wireless WPA2/802.1X authentication. We will discuss our overall wireless network design and implementation, as well as some of the "gotchas" we encountered.
