Session Type: Supporting the Enterprise Through Innovative and Effective IT Solutions
Pennsylvania College of Technology provides a demonstration of its SharePoint-based portal, which steps outside the boundary of a typical campus portal, focusing less on dashboard-like functionality and more on information distribution and collaboration. The session will include a nontechnical discussion of lessons learned about scalability, planning for diverse and resistant audiences, the need for standards and protocols, and challenges to effective promotion and training.
