Resources and budgets are tight in higher ed IT. However, stakeholders often fail to align their expectations with this reality, expecting work to be completed within impossible time frames and budgets. This session will address how Carnegie Mellon 's Global IT Services team leverages governance, management processes, and reporting processes to effectively navigate stakeholder expectations and deliver quality services. We will also discuss current related trends in higher education IT governance and management practices.
