Institutions are looking for systematic ways to help faculty design and develop online courses and prepare to teach them. This session will explore the use of an online course to provide a student learning experience to a cohort of faculty while they collaboratively developed their own online courses. What was the design? How was a sense of community fostered? What were the perspectives of faculty members who took the course? The presenters will review the concept behind the design and present the findings of post-course evaluation, and then solicit the audience for potential course improvements in methodology, flow, and pacing.
