Who Attended?
Nearly 400 higher education professionals who use information technology in any aspect of their daily responsibilities attended the Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference 2013.
About the Conference
The EDUCAUSE Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference was held January 16-18, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland. Themed "People + Process + Technology: IT Matters," the conference focused on the value technology brings to higher education even as the environment around us continues to change. Sessions emphasized inorporating mobile and data analytics, fostering partnerships and collaboration, keeping our workforce trained and happy, and thinking strategically about technology.
General session speakers were Jackie Fenn, vice president and fellow at Gartner, Paul Glen, CEO, and Maria McManus, vice president of product development at Leading Geeks. Browse the print program to see what innovative and practical ideas were presented, and what hot topics were discussed.

CIO and Executive IT Roundtable

The CIO and Executive IT Leader Roundtable, held on Wednesday, January 16, brought together top higher education IT leadership for an informal discussion on current issues and campus challenges, with peer networking opportunities.
New IT Managers Program
The EDUCAUSE Institute New IT Managers Program focused on providing participants with the basic skills critical for the management and supervision of projects, units, and people.
Mentorship Opportunity
