Best practices, based on Information Technology Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL), provide a process framework on which IT organizations can support and deliver services. At The University of Kansas, formal process management began in the spring of 2004. How we started these processes, lessons learned, and plans for future evaluation and implementation will be discussed.
