Formal communication plans can seem like an unnecessary luxury within an IT organization and an overwhelming proposition. Yet good communication is one of the critical success factors for an effective IT department. This session will describe the importance of a scalable and editable communications plan; the process of implementing that plan including the analysis of current communications and customers; and the available tools, tips, and tricks to help build and maintain that plan.
