Session Type: Discussion Session
CIOs come and go but the staff lives on. How do you ensure your new CIO is ready to lead on Day 1? A new CIO needs to learn not only the what, but also the why and how of the organization's functions, roles, responsibilities and, particularly, the institutional and departmental culture. This session explores the myriad of tasks and considerations necessary to ensure that the new CIO, or someone in another executive IT role is ready to assume duties and responsibilities and become an effective leader of campus IT ASAP.
