With a grant from the Davis Educational Foundation, Mount Ida College created an assessment process that empowers faculty to reflect on the teaching and learning process and effect change. The director of the School of Business initiated a course charter approach that creates an infrastructure that allows for consistency across courses with flexibility for faculty individualization, standardized collection of evidence of learning, and the ability to assess course learning outcomes. The lessons learned are applicable to all academic programs using an LMS and e-portfolio for assessment purposes.
