Session Type: Concurrent Session
At Yale multiple library units and digital projects are creating digital assets. Without centralized digital collections support, each unit with various configurations of IT support has created its own tools, processes, and policies to manage its digital assets, preserve them, and present them on the web. In this presentation, a programmer, a metadata librarian, and a digital collections librarian will discuss LadyBird, a new tool at Yale University Library that's being developed to centralize digitization workflows. The tool is the result of collaborations between programmers, librarians, and professional staff.
