Session Type: Teaching and Learning
As more and more e-book and e-textbook readers and application are introduced into the market, higher education campuses and libraries are exploring the opportunities to supplement teaching, learning, and library initiatives using e-books. While such devices have the potential to offer a new mode of access to textbooks, course reserves, interlibrary loans, best sellers, and other in-demand items on a single device for today's on-the-go campus community, new factors to consider regarding these possible options are also introduced. This session will review current findings and discuss outcomes and ideas for campus implementation.
