In August 2009, following a two-year development process, Mercy College went live with LLEK Koha, an open-source integrated library system. Mercy is one of 13 colleges that participated in this effort under the umbrella of the WALDO consortium, which permitted us to both share in the benefits of collaboration and ultimately realize a nearly 60% cost savings over our commercial ILS. In this presentation, we will address the current status of the project a year after launch, including successes, challenges, and future plans.
