This presentation will outline the process, results, and unintended consequences that KSC students and two professors experienced when they decided to move from Blackboard to a selection of Web 2.0 applications. The facilitators and participants in this interactive session will discuss how teaching with Web 2.0 technologies provides more cohesion to the learning experience; address how teaching in the open benefits teaching practice; share examples of courses that are using Web 2.0 technologies; and explore the challenges and successes for faculty, students, and support staff.
