Description:

Loyola Marymount University’s Department of Communication & Government Relations has an opening for a Web Manager. This position provides web design programming coordination and support to the University community. Primary responsibilities include front-end design and content support to University departments in performing: design modifications, custom front-end customizations, design templatizing, content management consultation, report analysis, training and website metric analysis. The Web Manager will also be responsible for the implementation of new designs into the content management system and for assisting users in the utilization of audio/video, flash content, and other enhanced media content.

We seek candidates who typically possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes. Applicant experience should encompass 3-5 years in progressively responsible positions in a web programming and/or design, new media, communications, or related field. Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) are required to prepare comprehensive reports and to interact effectively with internal and external clients. Ability to resolve a broad range of issues, coordinate requests, projects, and deadlines is also a must.
