Description:

Financial Information Systems at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator position involves all aspects of computer client systems management including testing, implementation, support, and troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, and mobile devices. The duties of this position include administration of 600+ clients through Microsoft Active Directory, Systems Management Server (SMS) software deployments, MSI-based Group Policy software deployments, Windows Deployment Services (WDS), and SoftGrid.

Applicant must have knowledge of client computers and network technology, administration, and analysis. Good organizational skills are required for project planning and implementation. Strong skills in Windows XP, Active Directory, disk imaging, and Group Policy are required. System administration scripting skills with visual basic and WMI is a plus. BS degree in related field and at least three years of experience is required, A+ and MCSA preferred. You must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
