POSITION ANNOUCEMENT – Database Administrator/Programmer Texas Wesleyan University, founded in 1890 in Fort Worth, is a United Methodist institution with a tradition of integrating the liberal arts and sciences with professional and career preparation at the undergraduate level and in selected graduate areas. Total enrollment is about 2,700 students. The University is currently seeking applicants for a Database Administrator/Programmer. Reporting to the University’s Director of Administrative Applications, the Database Administrator/Programmer is responsible for the planning, maintenance, and development of the University's administrative system. Additional responsibilities include performing data extracts from the appropriate UniData (Colleague) data elements and providing technical support for administrative software. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required. Position requirements include 3-5 years experience working with administrative multi-user application systems in higher education and experience with Datatel Colleague/Benefactor or other relational data models or ERP systems. Programming experience in Datatel’s Envision, C++, C# or Java is preferred.
