The UC Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) offers UC students from 10 different campuses access to strong academic programs overseas. We serve a large and diverse clientele with our systemwide technology.

The Senior Database Architect is responsible for all production SQL Servers and manages the overall design of complex mission critical database systems. As technical expert, assesses business process requirements against existing architecture. Performs code review, plans and designs integration of data structures with affiliated campus offices, central offices and vendor’s data systems. Plans, designs, implements, tests and documents data warehouse solutions within a Microsoft server environment using a SQL server/.Net application development framework. Develops and documents best practices.

Qualifications: 5 years OLTP relational database design using SQL Server, expertise in creating ERD and Embarcadero ERStudio, strong abilities with Apex SQLDiff, ability to optimize complex stored procedural code using t-SQL, XML design schemas. Background in OOP-based languages and concepts as well as web development. Skilled in various reporting products (Crystal Reports, Reporting Services etc.)
